Chicken Fricasee

- 1 large onion chopped shopping list
- 1 medium bell pepper chopped shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic minced shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup conola oil shopping list
- 1 pound of chicken legs shopping list
- 1 pound of chicken thighs (skin/fat taken off) shopping list
- 1 Tbsp salt shopping list
- 1 Tbsp cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1 Tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1 Tsp black pepper shopping list
- Big glass of water on hand at all times shopping list
- Black iron or magnelite pot shopping list
How to make it
- Pan fry chicken in preferable pot with oil. Remove chicken after 20 minutes. Add flour and cook on high heat stirring constantly until you have a dark brown color (almost burnt). Add veggies to stop the frying process. Let veggies simmer for 3 minutes and pour water in slowly as the mixture combines (lets off a lot of steam). Add salt, cayenne pepper, garlic powder and black pepper 30 minutes later (you don't want the seasonings to leave the pot). Don't forget to add the chicken back into the pot, it my get lonely. Cook on medium heat for 1 hour and enjoy!!!
