Fresh Fruit Custard Gateau

Thisi s a rich , custard cake ( gâteau ) and the fresh mango flavour gives an unique taste to it .
Ingredients
- cake : shopping list
- 1 C flour shopping list
- 4 eggs shopping list
- 2/3 C casrter sugar shopping list
- 60 g butter , melted shopping list
- Filling : shopping list
- 2 fresh mango shopping list
- 400 ml milk shopping list
- 1 C sugar or to taste shopping list
- 2 tbsp custard pwd mixed with 100 ml milk shopping list
- Topping : shopping list
- 100 g white chocolate shopping list
How to make it
- Cake :
- Pre heat oven at 180 deg .
- Grease a 20 cm pan .
- Beat the sugar and the eggs until light and doubles in volume .
- Fold in the flour twice with the butter
- Bake for 20 mins .
- Cool it .
- Filling :
- Blend the Mango with the milk .
- Boil with the sugar .
- Once starts to to boil , add the custard mixture .
- Once it thickens , cool it .
- Assemble :
- Cut the cake into 2 layers .
- Place a layer on serving plate and spread some filling .
- Place the other layer on top and spread rest of the filling thick on top and sides .
- Topping :
- Melt the chocolate .
- Cool abit and whisk until spreading consistency .
- Pour on top .
- Serve CHILLED
