Cold Fish On A Hot Summers Day Recipe
Proves that fish can taste superb cold. Goes well with hot buttered toast.

Ingredients
  • 1 filet Haddoc (cod or similar)
  • 1-2 handfuls Prawns
  • 2/3 Cucumber
  • 3 Tomatos
  • 1/2 head Iceberg lettuce
  • Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Chili sauce
  • 4 tbsp Creme fraiche
  • 4 tbsp Mayonese
  • 2 tbsp Indian relish (or any really)
  • 2-3 tbsp Skimmed milk
  • salt

Directions
  1. Haddoc and prawns boiled in lightly salted water for ca. 10 mins. and then cooled. Haddoc parted into bitesize chunks.
  2. Cucumber and tomatos cut into bitesize pieces.
  3. Mix together all the sauce ingredients.
  4. Serving dish covered with the lettuce then the cucumber and tomato pieces mixed with the prawns and haddoc over the lettuce.
  5. Pour sauce over.
