Ingredients

sliced tin betroot (12 pieces approx 6cm in diameter)

plain flour (enough to coat each side)

egg wash (2 or 3 eggs lightly beatin with a pinch of salt)

bread crumbs (enough to coat each side)

cooking oil (enough to cover the slices)

Directions

drain the beetroot from the tin

coat in flour (lightly dusted)

coat in egg wash

coat in bread crumb

place the oil in a deep fry pan untill hot

fry the beetroot untill golden brown
