its a bit unusual, they look gr8 on the plate . Serve with mashed potato and a nice steak.

Ingredients
  • sliced tin betroot (12 pieces approx 6cm in diameter)
  • plain flour (enough to coat each side)
  • egg wash (2 or 3 eggs lightly beatin with a pinch of salt)
  • bread crumbs (enough to coat each side)
  • cooking oil (enough to cover the slices)

Directions
  1. drain the beetroot from the tin
  2. coat in flour (lightly dusted)
  3. coat in egg wash
  4. coat in bread crumb
  5. place the oil in a deep fry pan untill hot
  6. fry the beetroot untill golden brown
