This is a dessert for those of you who have no time to cook anything at the last minute. Using a store-bought angel food cake, 2 cans of frosting and some coconut, you can put together a simple dessert that's sure to please and takes care of the demand for a dessert. Ingredients
- 1 prepared angel food cake, sliced into 2-3 inch cubes or "fingers" shopping list
- 2 containers of vanilla or chocolate frosting shopping list
- 1 bag of coconut flakes shopping list
How to make it
- Remove the frosting from the containers and stir well.
- Roll the cake pieces into the frosting, using a flat knife to coat well.
- Roll the cake into the coconut!
- Yep, its just that easy!
- If you're serving a large group, you can always buy more than one cake or even use pound cakes or a plain commercial sheet cake.
- You can roll the cake into sprinkles of any color or sugared shapes and sugar glitter. The kids will love this!
