Compote of Winter Fruits In Red Wine

- 2 cups sliced pears shopping list
- 2 cups sliced green apples shopping list
- 1/3 cup chopped dried apricots shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped dried pineapple shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups dry red wine shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg shopping list
- Grated rind of 1 lemon shopping list
- 2 tablespoons orange juice shopping list
- 1 cup nonfat plain yogurt shopping list
How to make it
- Combine pears, fruits, vanilla, wine, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, rind and juice in saucepan.
- Cook stirring frequently until most of wine has been absorbed and fruit is very soft.
- Serve warm or chilled topped with nonfat yogurt.
