LEMON DREAMS This is a recipe I obtained from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Harrelson Estate in Detroit, Michigan in 1984.

Ingredients
  • 8 ounce package cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon brandy extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
  • 21 ounce can lemon pie filling
  • Toasted slivered almonds

Directions
  1. Combine softened cream cheese, sugar, brandy and lemon juice mixing until blended.
  2. Fold in whipped cream.
  3. On a waxed paper covered cookie sheet spoon mixture to form eight shells then freeze.
  4. Before serving fill center of each shell with pie filling and top with almonds.
