Simple Sausage Gravy Recipe Peanutt / All my dishes

This is an altered version of my dad's method but the ingredients are the same. This gravy is delicious over grits, eggs, biscuits or toast.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb ground pork sausage
  • 3 tbl butter
  • 3 tbl flour
  • 2 cp milk
  • salt & pepper to taste

Directions
  1. Brown sausage in large skillet and crumble.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Add butter and flour into grease.
  4. Cook for one minute.
  5. Add milk, whisking constantly.
  6. Cook until thick.
  7. Add the sausage back in.
  8. Add salt and pepper to taste.
