Easy Chicken Stroganoff Recipe
This dish was a surprise to me! Literally takes seconds to prepare in the crock! And tastes so good! Serve over mashed potatoes or noodles.

Ingredients
  • 4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (frozen is fine)
  • can of 98% FF cream of mushroom soup
  • 16 oz container of FF sour cream
  • 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix

Directions
  1. Mix together soup, sour cream and onion soup mix.
  2. Pour mixture over chicken and cook on low for about 7 hours.
  3. **I also added a can of drained mushrooms near the end of cooking. I also a variety of whatever spices sounds good to me at the time. :) This is a WW-friendly recipe.

Alterations


When I made this again, I made a couple changes. I shredded the chicken with two forks to make the flavors of the sauce go completely through it and to get more "coverage" on the noodles. Also while the noodles were cooking, I chopped up an onion, threw them in a skillet, seasoned and sauted them until they were slightly browned and soft and then threw them in with the stroganoff instead of the mushrooms. I liked it better, and it added a little something.
