Trader Vics Fog Cutter Recipe

How to make it

  • Note: Trader Vic's Orgeat syrup (as well as other brands) are found at many grocery stores, one can substitue Ameretto syrup, although it will make the drink darker in color.
  • Shake all ingredients EXCEPT Sherry with ice
  • Pour into a tall 14oz glass
  • Top glass up with more ice cubes until full (thus one can dilute the drink by sipping)
  • once full, float about 1/4 inch of Sweet Sherry on top.
  • Serve with straws for sharing.
