Ingredients
  • 4 ounces angel hair pasta
  • 1-1/2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 medium white onion chopped
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 3 ounces cream cheese cut into cubes
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1-1/3 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons chives snipped

Directions
  1. Cook pasta according to package directions then drain well.
  2. In a medium saucepan cook the mushrooms and onion in the butter until vegetables are tender.
  3. Stir in cream cheese, salt and pepper then cook and stir over low heat until cheese is melted.
  4. Gradually stir in milk and chives and heat through.
  5. Pour sauce over pasta and toss to coat.
  6. Serve immediately.
