BAKED BURGUNDY BEEF This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Stewart Estate in Quinlan, Texas in 1994.

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds cubed chuck roast
  • 1 cup burgundy
  • 1 can condensed onion soup
  • 1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 package buttered noodles cooked

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. Combine all ingredients except noodles and mix well.
  3. Pour into casserole dish then cover and bake 3 hours.
  4. Serve over noodles.
