CALIFORNIA STYLE SALMON This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Howell Estate in Longview Texas in 1994.

Ingredients
  • 4 salmon steaks
  • 1 cup ripe olives chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced

Directions
  1. Grill salmon being careful not to overcook.
  2. Meanwhile in a medium bowl combine olives, tomato, onion, cilantro, oil and garlic.
  3. Mix well then serve over salmon and garnish with cilantro.
