TUNA BURGERS This is a recipe I obtained from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Park Estate in Irving, Texas in 1984.

Ingredients
  • 6 slices turkey bacon cooked
  • 1 egg
  • 14 ounces canned tuna undrained
  • 6 tomato slices
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaises
  • 1 tablespoon minced onion
  • 3 hamburger buns

Directions
  1. Beat egg then add tuna, mustard, mayonnaises, onion and bread crumbs then mix well.
  2. Spoon onto bottom halves of buns then broil 6" away from heat for 6 minutes.
  3. Top each with a tomato slice and two pieces of bacon.
  4. Cover with top buns which have been lightly toasted.
