Caramel Chocolate Chip Cake

- 2 cups all purpose flour shopping list
- 1 cup packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips finely chopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup shortening shopping list
- 1-1/4 cup milk shopping list
- 3 teaspoons baking powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- caramel Fluff Frosting: shopping list
- 1 envelope nondairy topping shopping list
- 1/2 cup skim milk shopping list
- 1/4 cup granulated brown sugar replacement shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 then grease and flour a rectangular baking pan.
- Beat all cake ingredients in large bowl on low speed for 30 seconds scraping bowl constantly.
- Beat on high for 3 minutes scraping bowl occasionally then pour into pan and bake 40 minutes.
- Combine all frosting ingredients in a chilled bowl and beat into stiff peaks.
- Frost cake then store in refrigerator.
