This is a tasty appetizer, and very easy to make.

Ingredients
  • 2 T Butter or Margarine
  • 1 C chopped fresh mushrooms
  • 1/4 C finely chopped celery
  • 1/4 C finely chopped onion
  • 2 T flour
  • 1 1/2 C chopped cooked chicken
  • 6 T sour cream
  • 1/2 t garlic salt
  • 1 package (10 ounces) flaky refrigerator biscuits
  • vegetable cooking spray
  • 1 T butter or marg, melted
  • grated parmesan cheese

Directions
  1. Melt 2 T Butter in large skillet until hot.
  2. Add mushrooms, celery and onion. Cook and stir 4 to 5 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle with flour; stir in chicken and sour cream.
  4. Cook until thouroughly heated.
  5. Stir in garlic salt; set aside
  6. Cut each buscuit into quarters; press each piece into miniature muffin tins coated with cooking spray to form tart shell. Brush each piece with melted butter.
  7. Bake at 400 degrees for 6 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven, reduce temp. to 350.
  9. Fill each tart with 1 teaspoon of chicken mixture; sprinkle with cheese.
  10. Bake 14 to 15 minutes.
  11. Serve immediately. Makes 40 to 48 tarts.
  12. For ease in serving at party time, prepare filling ahead and cook tarts 5 minutes. Fill and bake just before serving for best flavor.
