Homemade Butterscotch Sauce

- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup water shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream or manufacturing cream shopping list
- 3 Tb. regular salted butter (do not use margarine!) shopping list
How to make it
- Combine the sugar and water in a medium pan.
- Cook over high heat until the mixture is a light golden brown in color. Remove from heat.
- Add the cream and stir until smooth.
- Add the butter 1 tablespoon at a time.
- Blend well. Can be reheated.
- Pour this over the ice cream of your choice!

- 1 scoop of Coffee ice cream with butterscotch topping
- 1 scoop chocolate ice cream with marshmallow topping
- 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream with hot fudge topping
- Whipped cream and a sprinkling of chopped salted peanuts and a cherry on top!
- Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

What's snooty anoody's problem anyways? Geeeez, some people! Annie this recipe sounds easy and yummy. Im going out and buy some vanilla haagen das tonight and enjoy your sauce. Man O Man does this sound good!!!!!!!!!!! 5 from me!
