A cool treat on a hot summer day, with fresh strawberries, and the all AmericanTwinkie snack cakes. Pudding and cool whip on top...
Ingredients
- 6 pkgs. Twinkies (12 altogether) shopping list
- 2 c. hot water shopping list
- 2 sm pkgs. strawberry jello or 1 large shopping list
- 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding (3.5 oz.) shopping list
- 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries shopping list
- 1 8 oz. carton Cool Whip, thawed shopping list
- 1/3 c. chopped nuts (your choice, I use pecans) shopping list

How to make it
- Lay Twinkies in 9 x 13 inch baking dish, 4 across, 3 columns down.
- Dissolve jello in 2 cups hot water and pour over Twinkies.
- Spoon strawberries over Twinkies in one layer.
- Mix pudding with milk as per package directions
- Pour over strawberry layer
- Put a layer of cool whip over pudding layer
- sprinkle with nuts
- Cover a refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.
