Ingredients
  • 6 pkgs. Twinkies (12 altogether)
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 2 sm pkgs. strawberry jello or 1 large
  • 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding (3.5 oz.)
  • 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1 8 oz. carton cool whip, thawed
  • 1/3 c. chopped nuts (your choice, I use pecans)

Directions
  1. Lay Twinkies in 9 x 13 inch baking dish, 4 across, 3 columns down.
  2. Dissolve jello in 2 cups hot water and pour over Twinkies.
  3. Spoon strawberries over Twinkies in one layer.
  4. Mix pudding with milk as per package directions
  5. Pour over strawberry layer
  6. Put a layer of cool whip over pudding layer
  7. sprinkle with nuts
  8. Cover a refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.
