This is really easy to make and it's another meal to cook when you're not sure what's for dinner. Hope you enjoy it as much as me and my family do. =]

Ingredients
  • 2 tbls oil
  • 1/4 lb bacon
  • 1 lb ground turkey or beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, peeled and sliced
  • 3 ribs celery, chopped
  • 2 cps frozen peas
  • 1/2 cp sour cream
  • 4 servings of prepared mashed potatoes
  • Gravy:
  • 2 tbls flour
  • 2 cps broth
  • 3 tbls butter

Directions
  1. Heat pan to med hi heat.
  2. Add oil and bacon and brown.
  3. Add ground meat and season with salt and pepper.
  4. When browned add onions, carrots and celery.
  5. Season veggies with salt and pepper as well.
  6. Cook 5 mins.
  7. Stir in peas and cook another 2 mins.
  8. Stir in flour and cook another 2 mins.
  9. Whisk in broth and combine.
  10. Add 1/2 cp sour cream.
  11. Simmer on low until potatoes are finished.
  12. In a casserole dish combine meat and veggie mixture.
  13. Top with mashed potatoes and brush with a little bit of egg whites.
  14. Place under broiler until taters are brown.
  15. Goes great with biscuits.
