How to make it

  • Heat pan to med hi heat.
  • Add oil and bacon and brown.
  • Add ground meat and season with salt and pepper.
  • When browned add onions, carrots and celery.
  • Season veggies with salt and pepper as well.
  • Cook 5 mins.
  • Stir in peas and cook another 2 mins.
  • Stir in flour and cook another 2 mins.
  • Whisk in broth and combine.
  • Add 1/2 cp sour cream.
  • Simmer on low until potatoes are finished.
  • In a casserole dish combine meat and veggie mixture.
  • Top with mashed potatoes and brush with a little bit of egg whites.
  • Place under broiler until taters are brown.
  • Goes great with biscuits.
