How to make it

  • Remove wrappers from candies; set aside.
  • Line cupcake pans with papers.
  • Combine butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla; beat on high speed of electric mixer for 3 mintues.
  • Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda, salt and baking powder; add alternately with water to the butter mixture.
  • Beat just until combined.
  • Fill prepared muffin cups about 1/2 full with batter.
  • Place a chocolate kiss in center of each.
  • Bake 20 minutes @ 350F.
  • Remove to wire rack & cool.
  • Frost with your favorite frosting.
  • Place another kiss on top of each cupcake.
