Summer Chilled Peach Soup Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 ripe peaches
  • 2 cups dry white wine
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 Tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp curry powder
  • 3 cloves
  • 4 thin slices oranges

Directions
  1. Plunge the ripe peaches in boiling water for one minute. Peel.
  2. Remove the pit and puree the fruit in the blender.
  3. Transfer the puree to a sauce pan,
  4. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
  5. Simmer the mixture for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
  6. Remove the cloves and let soup cool.
  7. Chill the soup for at least 4 hours.
  8. Serve in chilled bowls and garnish with a thin slice of orange.
