This is a basic bread pudding recipe that can easily be altered to your liking.

Ingredients
  • 4 cps. cubed bread
  • 1/2 cp raisins
  • 2 cps milk
  • 1/4 cp butter
  • 1/2 cp sugar
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg and or cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions
  1. Combine bread and raisins in a large bowl.
  2. Add milk and butter to saucepan and heat for 10 mins or until butter is fully melted.
  3. Pour milk mixture over bread.
  4. Let stand for 10 mins.
  5. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  6. Pour into greased casserole dish and bake for 40 - 50 mins or until set in center.
