How to make it

  • Mix dry ingredients and cut in butter as you would for pastry. Cook the filling until it is thick. Spread half the first mixture into a greased 8 x 8 " cake pan. Cover this layer with filling and top with remaining crumb mixture. Bake at 300 F for about 1 hour. When cool cut into squares. Freezes well.
