Anzac Crisps

- 1 cup rolled oats shopping list
- 1 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 2/3 cup granulated sugar shopping list
- 1 cup grated or flaked coconut shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 3 tablespoons golden syrup shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325.
- Grease 3 large baking sheets.
- In a large bowl combine oats, flour, sugar, coconut, baking soda and salt then set aside.
- In a small saucepan combine butter and syrup.
- Place over medium heat and stir until butter is melted.
- Pour into the flour mixture and stir to combine.
- Gather dough by well rounded teaspoons.
- The dough will be very crumbly so you will need to use your fingers to lightly pack dough into the spoon.
- Invert mounds of dough 1-1/2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets shaping with you fingers as needed.
- Bake 10 minutes then remove from oven and let stand in baking sheets for 3 minutes.
- Cool on wire racks.
