COCONUT CUSTARD This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Cullen Estate in Allen, Texas in 1984.

Ingredients
  • 10 eggs
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 325.
  2. In a bowl combine all ingredients and mix well then pour into 6 custard cups.
  3. Place cups in rectangular baking pan.
  4. Carefully pour boiling water into baking pan until it reaches half way up the custard cups.
  5. Bake at 325 for 35 minutes.
