How to make it

  • Cut pineapple into small pieces. Use a plate to save the juice.
  • Pour juice, sugar and vinegar into a large saucepan and bring to a boil.
  • Add spices and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add pineapple and cook for 10 minutes over low heat, stirring well.
  • Pour chutney into hot jars and seal.
  • *This recipe yeilds about 1 lb of chutney.
