Pineaple Chutney

- 1 medium pineapple, peeled and cored shopping list
- 8 oz granulated sugar shopping list
- 8 oz cider vinegar shopping list
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon shopping list
- 1 tsp ground ginger shopping list
- 1 Tbsp Madras curry powder shopping list
- Heated canning jars with llids shopping list
How to make it
- Cut pineapple into small pieces. Use a plate to save the juice.
- Pour juice, sugar and vinegar into a large saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Add spices and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add pineapple and cook for 10 minutes over low heat, stirring well.
- Pour chutney into hot jars and seal.
- *This recipe yeilds about 1 lb of chutney.
