Champagne Punch Creole Recipe
This is definitely holiday fare! This recipe makes a LOT, but you can cut it down by half or 2/3rds, without any ill-effects.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound sugar
  • 1 pint lemon juice
  • 1 quart champagne
  • 1 quart white wine
  • 1/4 cup Curacao
  • 2 quarts seltzer
  • 1/2 fresh pineapple; grated
  • 1/2 fresh pineapple; sliced
  • 36 strawberries
  • 1 large chunk of ice

Directions
  1. Dissolve sugar in lemon juice. Add all liquids except champagne, along with the grated pineapple. Pour into punch bowl over large chunk of ice. Garnish with pineapple slices & strawberries. Add the champagne last.
