Raisin Sauce For Ham Recipe
A great recipe from Southern Living I found a few years ago. It is easy and elegant!

Ingredients
  • 2 cups raisins
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange rind
  • 3 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions
  1. Bring first three ingredients to a boil in a saucepan; reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes.
  2. Combine sugar and next 3 ingredients; stir into raisin mixture. Return to a boil, stirring constantly. boil, stirring constantly for 1 minute.
  3. Stir in walnuts, Yields 2 cups
