Berry Cobbler Recipe
Simple Berry Cobbler...use blackberries, raspberries, mulberries or a combination...DO NOT use blueberries or strawberries in this recipe!

Ingredients
  • 5 cups fresh or frozen berries
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 2 cup Gold MedalĀ® all-purpose flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cup milk
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • Excellent with cream, whipped cream or ice cream...optional...

Directions
  1. Stir together berries and sugar. Let stand about 20 minutes until a syrup forms.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together remaining ingredients and spread in an ungreased 9 x 13 baking dish.
  3. Spoon berry mixture over batter.
  4. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 45 minutes or until dough rises and is golden.
  5. Serve warm with cream (optional)
