7-up Squares Recipe

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Combine flour, salt & baking soda and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, cream together sugar and shortening.
  • Add egg, vanilla and mix well.
  • Add 7-Up a little at a time, alternating with flour mixture.
  • Mix after each addition.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Bake in greased & floured jelly roll pan for 15 minutes.
  • Top with glaze while still warm.
