Sesame Corn Saute

- 1 Tbsp. sesame seeds shopping list
- 3 Tbsp. olive oil shopping list
- 1 garlic clove, minced shopping list
- 6 ears fresh corn, kernels cut off cob, about 4 cups shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt shopping list
- 1/8 tsp. freshly ground pepper, (more if you like) shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. thinly sliced fresh basil shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- On a baking sheet, spread out sesame seeds and bake until very lightly toasted, about 6 minutes. Let cool.
- Meanwhile, in a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
- Add garlic and saute until lightly golden, about 30 sec.
- Add corn, salt and pepper, cook, stirring occasionally, until corn is just tender, about 6 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- In a large bowl, gently toss together corn, sesame and basil.
- Serve immediately.
