How to make it

  • Cook rice to pkg directions but use milk instead of water.
  • When cooked, add egg yoks and sugar.
  • Beat whites till stiff and fold into rice mixture.
  • In a buttered casserole dish add 1/2 of rice and drained cherries.
  • Cover with remianing rice, dot witrh some butter.
  • Bake 375F about 30 minutes or light golden.
  • Put reserved cherry juice in a pitcher and serve with the hot rice.
