This is a great little molded salad. It is really nice for the fall. I know you will enjoy!

Ingredients
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups chopped, pared apples
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1/4 cup red hot candies
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 1 package cherry, raspberry, or strawberry Jell-o
  • Whipped cream

Directions
  1. Dissolve Jell-o in 1 cup hot water.
  2. Add red hots to 1/2 cup boiling water and stir until dissolved.
  3. Add enough water to make 1 cup.
  4. Add remaining ingredients.
  5. Pour into your favorite gelatin mold and chill until firm
  6. Remove from mold and place on plate or platter.(this is easy if you turn the mold upside down and run under cold water to loosen.
  7. Top with whipped cream if desires.
