How to make it

  • Cut bread into 1” cubes then place half in greased rectangular baking dish.
  • Cut cream cheese into 1” cubes then place over bread.
  • Top with blueberries then remaining bread.
  • In large bowl beat eggs then add milk and syrup.
  • Mix well and pour over bread mix then cover and chill 8 hours or overnight.
  • Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.
  • Cover and bake at 350 for 30 minutes then uncover and bake 30 minutes longer.
  • In saucepan combine sugars, cornstarch and water then boil 3 minutes stirring constantly.
  • Stir in blueberries then reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes then stir in butter.
  • Serve over French toast.
