Blueberry Cream Cheese French Toast

- 12 slices day old white bread with crust removed shopping list
- 16 ounces cream cheese softened shopping list
- 1 cup fresh blueberries shopping list
- 12 eggs shopping list
- 2 cups milk shopping list
- 1/3 cup maple syrup shopping list
- Sauce: shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 1 cup fresh blueberries shopping list
- 1 tablespoon butter shopping list
How to make it
- Cut bread into 1” cubes then place half in greased rectangular baking dish.
- Cut cream cheese into 1” cubes then place over bread.
- Top with blueberries then remaining bread.
- In large bowl beat eggs then add milk and syrup.
- Mix well and pour over bread mix then cover and chill 8 hours or overnight.
- Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.
- Cover and bake at 350 for 30 minutes then uncover and bake 30 minutes longer.
- In saucepan combine sugars, cornstarch and water then boil 3 minutes stirring constantly.
- Stir in blueberries then reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes then stir in butter.
- Serve over French toast.
