Asian Broccoli Salad

- 2 large heads of broccoli, shopping list
- 1 cup dark raisins shopping list
- 1 /2 cup toasted sunflower seeds shopping list
- soy sauce to taste shopping list
- Oriental sweet cooking rice wine to taste ( Aji- mirin ) shopping list
- Oriental seseme seed oil to taste shopping list
- 1 tsp sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp green curry paste or to your liking shopping list
How to make it
- Use broccoli florets ( save stems for another use if you prefer ) and cook tender in water with some salt and a few slices of lemon till crisp tender and still green.
- Drain and rinse with cold water and drain again.
- Place florets ( cut if too large ) into a bowl with the sunflower seeds and raisins.
- Now to taste ,add splashes of sweet cooking rice wine, seseme seed oil, soy sauce, and 1 tsp sugar and curry paste to taste.
- This may be served immediately or well chilled.
- The salad has a nice combination of sweet and heat and nutty flavor from the sunflower seeds,
