How to make it

  • Use broccoli florets ( save stems for another use if you prefer ) and cook tender in water with some salt and a few slices of lemon till crisp tender and still green.
  • Drain and rinse with cold water and drain again.
  • Place florets ( cut if too large ) into a bowl with the sunflower seeds and raisins.
  • Now to taste ,add splashes of sweet cooking rice wine, seseme seed oil, soy sauce, and 1 tsp sugar and curry paste to taste.
  • This may be served immediately or well chilled.
  • The salad has a nice combination of sweet and heat and nutty flavor from the sunflower seeds,
