This is a light delicious cake that requires hardly any prep time. Convenience products make it quick. It's good for company and good at holidays.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound cake (slightly frozen) sliced into 3 or 4 layers
  • ricotta cheese
  • strawberry jam (or other)
  • shaved semi-sweet chocolate
  • orange liquor

Directions
  1. Alternate layers of pound cake with thin layers of ricotta cheese, jam, chocolate.
  2. Sprinkle on the liquore.
  3. Refrigerate overnight and before serving, frost with whipped cream.
  4. Garnish with a little shaved chocolate.
