Wednesday Night Pasta

- 2 cups dried pasta( any kind, i prefer fuscilli or fettucine) shopping list
- 1 cup frozen spinach shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped mushroom( i like more) shopping list
- 1 TBSP butter shopping list
- salt shopping list
- pepper shopping list
- 1 cup heavy cream shopping list
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese shopping list
- 2 tsp Italian herbs shopping list
- pinch red pepper flakes shopping list
How to make it
- bring water to boil, season with salt and oil. add pasta and cook 8-12 minutes till al dante.
- drain pasta reserving 1/4 cup of boiling liquid if you can, wash pasta down under running water to stop cooking and rinse off excess salt.
- in a pan, melt butter on med-high heat and add mushrooms, herbs, pepper flakes. mix till mushroom absorbs the butter.
- pour in cream and add in cheese, salt and pepper, let the sauce thicken.
- add prepared pasta and spinach, mix to coat pasta well
- if you prefer more sauce add the reserved water from boiled pasta.
- serve warm and garnish with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese if you like
- enjoy
