How to make it

  • In a bowl, cut butter into flour until crumbly.
  • Stir in peanuts.
  • Press into an ungreased 13 x 9 inch pan.
  • Bake at 350 for 16 - 20 minutes.
  • Cool.
  • In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar and peanut butter until smooth.
  • Fold in 1 & 1/2 C whipped topping.
  • Carefully spread over the cooled crust.
  • In another bowl, whisk the milk and puddings together.
  • Let stand to thicken for about 2 minutes.
  • Spread over cream cheese layer.
  • Top with remaining whipped topping.
  • Garnish with chocolate shavings and more peanuts if desired.
  • Refrigerate until serving.
