Vegetable Chowder

- 1/2 C Toor dhal shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves shopping list
- ........................................ shopping list
- 1 small snakegourd and 1 small carrot , sliced shopping list
- ( can also use okra, drumstick, carrot, radish, pumpkin, potatoes, tomatoes, brinjal ) shopping list
- 1 tomato , sliced shopping list
- 1 onion , sliced shopping list
- 2 green/red chilli , slit shopping list
- 2 tbsp tamarind juice shopping list
- 3 tsp instant sambar powder Or make your own shopping list
- ( sambar powder include roasted 1 tsp lentils, 2 tsp coriander pwd , 1 tsp red chili pwd , 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds, and curry leaves ) - then powdered shopping list

- spice Powder : shopping list
- roasted in 1 tsp oil and grounded shopping list
- 1 tsp channa dhal , 1 tsp fennel seed , 1 tsp cumin seed shopping list
- ......................................................... shopping list
- Temper : shopping list
- 1 tsp mustard seed shopping list
- 2 dry chilli , broken shopping list
- 1 tbsp currry leaves shopping list
How to make it
- Pressure cook dhal , 1 tsp oil and garlic for 3 to 5 mins .
- Mix it well . Add the rest of the ing and some water .
- Check the salt and pressure cook again for 1 to 2 mins .
- Add the Spice Powder .
- Now temper and mix well .
- Serve with steamed rice along with crackers and pickles .
- ( I love it with fried fish / spicy meat gravy / omlette )
