How to make it

  • Cream butter & sugars.
  • Beat in egg & molasses.
  • Add dry ingredients & cream.
  • Stir in candied ginger.
  • Mix to form soft dough.
  • Roll into balls, roll balls in sugar, bake at 375 till tops are cracked and light brown.
  • To soften futher, store in tightly covered container overnight with a slice of fresh bread.
