Ginger Crinkles

- 3/4 c. butter or margerine shopping list
- 1/2 c. sugar shopping list
- 1/2 c. dark brown sugar shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1/4 c. molasses shopping list
- 2 c.flour shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 2 tsp. soda shopping list
- 1 tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. cloves shopping list
- 1 tsp. ginger shopping list
- 1 TBSP half & half shopping list
- finely chopped candied ginger, about 1/2 cup, or to taste shopping list
- Demerra or decorating sugar, or combination shopping list
How to make it
- Cream butter & sugars.
- Beat in egg & molasses.
- Add dry ingredients & cream.
- Stir in candied ginger.
- Mix to form soft dough.
- Roll into balls, roll balls in sugar, bake at 375 till tops are cracked and light brown.
- To soften futher, store in tightly covered container overnight with a slice of fresh bread.
