Beef Moussaka Greek

- 1 pound lean ground beef or lamb shopping list
- 1 onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 can (14oz.) tomato sauce shopping list
- 1/2 tps. salt shopping list
- 1/8 tps. nutmeg shopping list
- 1/4 tps. black pepper shopping list
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cooked shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1 1/3 cup milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- 1- Brown meat and onion in large saucepan. Add tomato sauce and seasoninge. Bring to a boil and simmer, covered for about 20 minutes
- 2- Slice cooked potatoes about 1/4 inch thick; arrange half of them in greased casserole. Cover with meat / tomato sauce mixture and top with rest of potatoes.
- 3- Beat eggs and milk together and pour over potatoes. Sprinkle with cheese and bake in 350F oven for about 45 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
