- 450g plain flour shopping list
- 20ml baking powder shopping list
- 5 ml salt shopping list
- 175g butter shopping list
- 50g castor sugar shopping list
- 225g sultanas shopping list
- 50g flaked almonds shopping list
- 2 med sizes eggs shopping list
- 4tbs milk to to glaze. shopping list
How to make it
- Heat the oven to 220 c , 425 f ,gas 7 .sift flour and baking powder and salt into bowl,.cut the butter into the flour and then rub in until the the mix is like breadcrumbs.Stir in the sugar with sultanans and half the almonds.,Beat in the eggs adding 30ml milk.Make a well in center.Add the dry mix all to a dought with you hands .
- Knead very lighty.roll out 5cm cutter put onto baking tray .Glaze with the egg and sultanans and nuts.Bake for 15-20 min Serve warm
