How to make it

  • Brown the hamburger in a 10 inch skillet, drain
  • Open and drain the liquid from the corn and beans in to a measuring cup. Add enough water to equal 2 1/4 cups.
  • Add liquid to hamburger
  • Add taco seasoning to hamburger
  • Add rice
  • Heat mixture to boiling
  • Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring often
  • Add corn and beans five minutes before time is up
  • Rinse out the cans and add liquid, if more liquid is needed
  • If desired, cheese can be added on top after cooking. Let stand covered until cheese melts
