Herbed Rice

- 1 cup white basmati rice shopping list
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter shopping list
- 2 cups water shopping list
- 1 tablespoon rosemary, crushed shopping list
- 1 teaspoon thyme shopping list
- 1 teaspoon dried basil shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper shopping list
- pinch salt shopping list
How to make it
- Add oil or butter to a pan over medium high heat.
- Measure rice into pan and stir to coat with melted butter/oil.
- Add herbs, pepper and salt, and water. Turn up heat to bring to a boil.
- Cover with tight fitting lid and simmer for 15-20 minutes (or follow recommended directions on package of rice.)
- Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Stir to make sure herbs are evenly distributed before serving.
