How to make it

  • Add oil or butter to a pan over medium high heat.
  • Measure rice into pan and stir to coat with melted butter/oil.
  • Add herbs, pepper and salt, and water. Turn up heat to bring to a boil.
  • Cover with tight fitting lid and simmer for 15-20 minutes (or follow recommended directions on package of rice.)
  • Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes.
  • Stir to make sure herbs are evenly distributed before serving.
