I was looking for a simple vinegrette that I could tweak to an asian vinegrette, and got side tracked. I found this in my mom's 1962 Better Homes and Gardens Cook Book. This would be great on a mixed melon salad, or a tuna salad, or chicken.....

Ingredients
  • 6 Tbsp Lemon or Lime Juice
  • 3 Tbsp Honey (We like our local wild flower honey!)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp lemon or lime zest (optional)
  • 1 tsp ground ginger (optional)

Directions
  1. Wisk all together and chil until ready to use.
