Cowboy Soup

- 1 pound ground beef, browned and drained shopping list
- 1 can (14 1/2 ounces) crushed tomatoes shopping list
- 1 can (14 1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes with green chilies * with liquid shopping list
- 1 can (15 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained shopping list
- 1/2 cup dried minced onion shopping list
- 1 box (6.8 ounces) Spanish rice, with seasoning packet shopping list
- 6 cups water shopping list
- *For a spicer version use diced tomatoes with jalapenos. shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients in greased 4 1/2 to 6 quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on low heat 4-5 hours. Do not over cook. Makes 4-6 servings.
- Top with grated cheese and sour cream, if desired. Serve with tortilla chips.
