Easiest Ever Summer Berry Ice Cream

- Serves 6
Make this with or without an ice cream freezer. Fresh and delightful!
Ingredients
- 16 oz fresh strawberries or summer berries shopping list
- 4 oz caster sugar shopping list
- 10 oz double cream shopping list
- juice of 1 lemon shopping list
How to make it
- Mash or puree berries in a mixing bowl.
- Stir in sugar, cream and lemon juice.
- Mix well.
- Pour into ice cream freezer and churn until softly frozen
- OR
- Place in freezer container and freeze, stirring every hour or so until softly frozen.
- Freeze unitl firm.
- Let soften in refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve garnished with berries.
