This is a recipe passed to me by my sister, I made it for our co-workers, and they are now requesting it at every function! The set time for topping on this varies, I do about 1 hour.

Ingredients
  • 1- 19-21½ oz pkg Fudge Brownie Mix
  • 1- 10 oz pkg Miniature Marshmallows
  • 1½ cups Semi Sweet or Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1 TBSP Butter or Margarine
  • 1½ cups Rice Crispies or Cocoa Crispies Cereal

Directions
  1. Prepare brownie mix according to pkg directions, using a 13X9 baking pan and directions for chewy brownies.
  2. Bake according to pkg directions, minus 5 Min. baking time.
  3. Sprinkle baked brownies with marshmallows & return to oven for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Cool in the pan. (10-15 Min.)
  5. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter.
  6. Heat & stir until chocolate is melted (or melt all in microwave, 100% power, for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully melted).
  7. Stir in cereal.
  8. Pour evenly over marshmallows.
  9. Refrigerate till topping is set.
  10. Cut into bars using greased knife to make cutting easier.
  11. Serve at room temperature.
