brownie krispy treats

This is a recipe passed to me by my sister, I made it for our co-workers, and they are now requesting it at every function! The set time for topping on this varies, I do about 1 hour.
Ingredients
- 1- 19-21½ oz pkg fudge brownie mix shopping list
- 1- 10 oz pkg miniature marshmallows shopping list
- 1½ cups Semi Sweet or milk chocolate chips shopping list
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter shopping list
- 1 TBSP butter or margarine shopping list
- 1½ cups rice Crispies or cocoa Crispies cereal shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare brownie mix according to pkg directions, using a 13X9 baking pan and directions for chewy brownies.
- Bake according to pkg directions, minus 5 Min. baking time.
- Sprinkle baked brownies with marshmallows & return to oven for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool in the pan. (10-15 Min.)
- Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter.
- Heat & stir until chocolate is melted (or melt all in microwave, 100% power, for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully melted).
- Stir in cereal.
- Pour evenly over marshmallows.
- Refrigerate till topping is set.
- Cut into bars using greased knife to make cutting easier.
- Serve at room temperature.
