Snow Pea And Beef Stir Fry Recipe
A quick and simple to make stir-fry dish that is flavorful. Serve with rice on the side.

Ingredients
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup mirin (rice wine)
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 lb. flank steak
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. sesame oil
  • 1/2 lb. snipped snow peas, strings removed
  • 1/2 cup red pepper strips
  • 4 scallions, diagonally cut into 1" pieces
  • 2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 2 tsp. toasted sesame seeds, garnish

Directions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, sugar and cornstarch.
  2. Slice flank steak into thin strips. Marinate beef in the soy sauce mixture for 15 minutes. Drain and reserve marinade.
  3. In a wok over high heat, stir-fry beef in the oils for 2 minutes. Constantly stirring during cooking.
  4. Add snow peas, red pepper, scallions and garlic. Continue cooking for 2 minutes. Constantly stirring during cooking.
  5. Add reserved marinade. Toss well over medium heat for 2 minutes more.
  6. Transfer to a serving dish. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
  7. Serve with rice on the side
