Mustard Chicken Variation 2 Recipe
I like making these in the individual foil packets. It makes it easy to store and portions out the servings.

  • 1 c dijon or spicy mustard
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 tsp Tabasco sauce
  • 1 tsp herbes de prevence or dried thyme
  • 6 dark meat chicken parts (legs and thighs separated)
  • 1 bunch curly parsely
  • 1 medium sized red onion sliced
  • salt & pepper
  • foil cut into 6 12 inch squares

Directions
  1. Combine first five ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Lay out foil squares on a flat surface or work on a few at a time. Place two pieces of chicken in the center of each foil. Salt and pepper to your liking. Add a few sprigs of parsley and a couple of onion slices on top of the meat.
  3. Drop mustard mixture evenly among the chicken. Fold the sides of the foil upwards to create foil packets.
  4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake chicken for 40 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
  5. Serve indivually with rice and favorite sides. Careful for steam when opening packets.
